Signature Cake Flavours

All of our Signature Cakes are filled twice.
To ensure safe transport in our Arizona weather we keep our stock cakes frozen; because of this cakes will need roughly one to two hours (depending on the size) to reach the perfect temperature for serving. 

**Diplomat Creams are half Whipped Cream, half Bavarian cream or an egg-based curd then flavoured with fruit or essence.


Chocolate Parisian

Karl’s delicious Chocolate Butter Cake filled and frosted with a whipped Chocolate Ganache.





A swirl of Classic Chocolate & Vanilla Butter Cake filled with a Bavarian Cream and frosted with Karl’s Famous Buttercream.




Pink Champagne
            Angel Food Cake with a hint of raspberry! Made with Champagne then filled and frosted with an Italian Meringue Pink Champagne Buttercream.

Bavarian Cream
Classic Vanilla Butter Cake with Bavarian Cream Filling, Whipped Cream frosting topped with seasonal fresh fruits (this cake is never frozen and only refrigerated, best to order ahead).

Strawberry Diplomat
            White Butter Cake layers soaked in French Vanilla Milk filled with a thin layer of Strawberry Preserve and a Strawberry Diplomat Cream**, frosted with Whipped Cream then glazed with a Strawberry Mirror Glaze.

Lemon Diplomat
            White Butter Cake layers soaked in fresh made Lemonade filled with a thin layer of our Karl’s-Made Lemon Curd and a Lemon Diplomat Cream**, frosted with Whipped Cream.

Banana Diplomat
Banana Cake layers soaked in French Vanilla Milk filled with a thin layer of Chocolate Ganache and a Banana Diplomat Cream**, frosted Banana Whipped Cream then topped with a Chocolate Ganache.

Black Forest  

Kirschwasser soaked Chocolate Cake layers filled with Cherry Preserve, Whipped Cream & Parisian Cream, then Parisian Cream frosted topped with chocolate shavings and cherries.

German Chocolate

In house-made German chocolate filling with Pecans, Coconut, Caramel, and Honey in-between our Classic Chocolate Butter Cake then frosted with a fluffy Chocolate Buttercream.

Chocolate Fudge

The Fudgiest Fudge Cake your fantastic family can finally feast on! Classic Chocolate Butter Cake with a decadent homemade Fudge frosting.


Princess Torte

White Cake cut into six thin layers then filled with a Raspberry Preserve and Bavarian Cream five times. Frosted with Whipped Cream then covered with a Pistachio Marzipan.

            Packed with shredded Carrots & Coconut, Pineapple, and Walnuts this cake is substantial! Filled & frosted with a dense Cream Cheese icing with toasted Walnuts on the outside.

Red Velvet

A light chocolate cake made with buttermilk Filled & frosted with a dense cream cheese icing.



Standard Buttercream
            Chocolate or Vanilla Butter Cake with Chocolate or Vanilla Buttercream filled & frosted.

Raspberry Buttercream Deluxe
            Raspberry Juice soaked Chocolate Butter Cake layers filled with a Raspberry Ganache and Chocolate Italian Meringue Buttercream frosted with the same.

Apple Cinnamon Rum
            Cinnamon Cake soaked in Rum with Apples and a Rum Whipped Cream frosting.

Dulce De Leche
                White Cake with a Caramel soak, tartine and cream. Frosted with a Caramel Cream and dressed with a soft Caramel.

Mocha Cappuccino Mousse
            Chocolate cake soaked in espresso and filled with a White Chocolate Mocha Cream.


Classic Mascarpone Tiramisu with Coffee, Cognac, and Amaretto soaked lady fingers.




            Vanilla Cake with a French Vanilla soak, a hazelnut spread, and filled and frosted with a Hazelnut Buttercream.

Flourless Chocolate Cake
            Otherwise known as a Chocolate Truffle Cake, the “cake” portion is a creamy Chocolate Cheesecake-esque delight filled and frosted with an Italian Meringue Buttercream glazed with a Chocolate Ganache.
